Employing Mentally Retarded Ex-residents in the Institution

Following their discharge, 17 mentally retarded exresidents were employed by the institution. The paper discusses the selection and training of the employees, analyzes their predischarge case histories and job-performance ratings, and compares the results with previous research findings. The authors also consider the advantages of employment in the institution of former residence.
